In the summer of 2019, a group of like-minded people initiated the Chinese Theater in Göttingen, hoping to organize all kinds of drama activities to show their talents. The group aims at cross-cultural exchange without emphasizing neither the exotic Chinese style nor anti-orientalism. Its members are interested in the topics of subjectivity, freedom, rationality, justice, and identities in the global context. Building up a platform of intercultural communication will make different cultures more accessible and assessable.
