Tania Santos Martínez

Tania Santos Martínez, born on November 22, 1988, in Mexico City, grew up in Santuario Mapethé, Hidalgo, before returning to the capital for her high school and university studies. Her theatrical journey began with Drama Sangre y Cenizas, where she collaborated on the book “Muerte” (Death). Later, she joined the Greek theater company Siringa and participated in the Colloquium of Classical Literature. Santos pursued a degree in Dramatic Literature and Theater at UNAM, focusing on acting, theater studies, and classical literature. Following her graduation, she conducted theater workshops for teenagers and served as a dramaturg with Tercer Sendero Teatro, contributing to projects like “Relatos para el fin del mundo” (Tales for the End of the World). In 2020, she participated in the International Dramaturgy Lab, co-creating “The Mystery of Rachel Sinclair.” Currently, she works as a teacher and state liaison in Querétaro for the “Semilleros Creativos” program, with interests spanning theater history, ritual origins of representation, body studies, process documentation, and community theater.
