Flora Wang is a passionate drama director. Though she has no systematic drama education background, she has a unique taste and insight into “stage performance”.

In March 2021, she initiated an NGO in Athens, consisted of a group of drama lovers——the “Sino-Hellenic Performing Arts Alliance”, and has presented two drama plays as the screenwriter and director. In September 2022, the second play “The Myth of the White Snake” was successfully staged in Pallas Theater, one of the best theaters in Greece,  to 1,400 local audiences.

Guccini is a scenographer, visual artist, art director, and performance maker from Shanghai and currently based in London. She enjoys creating multi-sensory spaces or scenarios that invites people to gather and experience. She has worked design placement with Punchdrunk’s Burnt City and presented her group exhibition in The Crypt Gallery. Guccini is currently a resident artist at Somerset House Exchange.

Finding the “philosophical meaning behind the surface” has always been a question for Liu. By linking artistic works and psychological autonomy, she deconstructs the manipulative patterns of narcissism in a capitalist society.

In addition, her works can be seen as a rebellion against patriarchy and bureaucracy, casting light on human rights and female autonomy. As a young emerging artist, she has been hosting and participating in more than 60 solo and group exhibitions, film screenings, performance festivals, and interviews worldwide.

Xiaoer Liu 刘潇儿 @liuxiaoer.art (1993) currently lives and works in Berlin, Germany. She arrived in Berlin in 2016 to study at the Berlin University of the Arts, where she continued and graduated with her study in time-based media and performance art. Liu works across video, performances, drawing, sound and installation. Her works explore human trauma and social problems, where she draws inspiration from triggering phenomena found in daily life.

Yaxin Luo is a lifelong learner, persistent creator and cooperation seeker. She studied at Wuhan University, Fu Jen Catholic University, Korea University and the University of Leeds and been awarded prizes in China, South Korea, Japan and the UK.

Through a wide range of experiments as a writer, dramaturg, director, performer, producer, designer, columnist and researcher, Yaxin has created performances, plays, novels, articles in addition to installations and calligraphy works all over the world.

Ziyan, a graduate student of Theater, Performance and Society at Univerisité Paris 8. She is interested in performance in rural heritage, also in the female body, personal memory and experience of space. She created I Come From My Body in the summer of 2022 and premiered it in the communal kitchen of Gießen’s student residence. It was later performed at Le Générateur.

I seek to creatively invest my education and skills as a doctor, healer, musician, sound artist, and thinker to ask challenging and relevant questions about the human condition of living. Both art and medicine invite people to take part in life’s moments of great complexity, ambiguity, tension, or difficulty, and by doing so dignify – and honor – the whole experience of living. Both understand that to live means to tear; and this means there is a role for the healer and artist, because looking into how we mend and how we understand the process, is the work that we can do.

I was born in South Korea, moved to the United States at age seven, and currently live in Portugal. I work in sound performance, poetry, and installation of materials/objects and field recordings. I hold a doctorate in medicine from Harvard Medical School and a masters in music from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and am a Fulbright Scholar in creative music.

He has been organizing and participating in successful dance projects since 2013. From 2014 to 2017, he worked as a lecturer at Jiangxi Vocational Academy of Art and Nanchang University. In 2020 he organized the dance theater performance “Distanz” in Germany as chief director. This was shown in Germany and in Wuhan (China) and was awarded a prize for the concept and a prize for outstanding artists in China in 2021.

He enjoys collaborating across borders, experimenting with new media, exploring the relationship between improvisation and choreography, and focusing on current Asian and European party cultures as a background for his work. He lives and works in Essen, Germany.

Chen Lizhi graduated from Peking University with a B.A. in physics, and an M.A. in nuclear engineering. He studied theatre and got an M.F.A. degree at SLC in New York, majoring in hybrid media, writing, and directing. He is also pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Theatre & AI at the Central Academic of Drama in China. Most of his works are speculative fictional and involve algorithms and interactive devices.

Li Xu is a London-based actor pursuing an MFA in Acting at East 15 Acting School. She finished her BA in dramaturgy and applied theatre at the Centre Academy of Drama in Beijing, China. She is  interested in contemporary theatre, exploring different styles of Acting, while also being keen on finding the truth in acting.

Yu Feifei was born and raised in Guangzhou. She studied at Royal College of Art(UK) and moved back to China after graduation. Currently she based in Beijing.
Her creative practices started from her exploration of inter-generational cultural identity. She integrated examination and usage of mass media, with theoretical backgrounds in critical theory, gender studies, and iconological analysis. Through research and practice, Feifei explores the
mutual influence of media content and audience reception in the field of artistic expression.
