“Folding Cities” is a research-based theatrical project dedicated to exploring the negative impacts of unpleasant architectural designs on society. By analyzing the physical, emotional, and social harm caused by such designs, the project aims to raise public awareness of “spatial inequality.” Combining elements of lecture performance and multimedia technology, the production creates an interactive and immersive experience for the audience. “Folding Cities” advocates for collaboration between individuals and communities, encouraging proactive measures to create equitable and just urban environments for all members of society, while striving for systemic change to reshape our social fabric.
