根据《斯坦福百科全书》，进化在生物学中是指种群里的遗传性状在世代之间的变化。但是，当谈到当前社会中的一个特定家庭，例如居住在北京的记者或出租车司机时，“进化”一词意味着什么？进行“进化”的所谓最佳选择是什么？

顾雷，中国当代剧作者、导演。戏剧作品，冷暗的格调中，融汇了轻灵的黑色幽默，在写意的空间造型中，融入了中国传统美学的气质，兼具平民气息和知识分子思辨的韵味，并保持着一贯的高水准，注重观赏性和艺术美感的平衡。主要作品《告别无羁的长夜》、《十个人的夜》、《顾不上》、《人生不适情》。

Synopsis:

According to Stanford Encyclopedia, evolution means the changes in the proportions of biological types in a population over time, which is also a common understanding for most people. However, what does the term evolution mean when it comes to one particular family in current society, such as a journalist or a taxi driver living in Beijing? What is the so-called best choice to make for “evolution?”

It is a great honor and pleasure to invite the playwright, Mr. Lei Gu, to participate in our online script reading and discussion on Sep. 12th.

Playwright:

Lei Gu is a contemporary Chinese playwright and stage director. His cool and dark style is blended with light and black humor. He integrates the spirit of traditional Chinese aesthetics—the aesthetic taste of freehand, into spatial experiences on the stage. His works show both civilian atmosphere and intellectual speculation. Gu maintains a consistently high standard, and he pays great attention to the balance between appreciation and aesthetics in the theater. Farewell to the Uninhibited Long Night, A Night of Ten People, Can’t Take Care of, and To be Comfortable with Discomfort are among his many works.
